Clive died at home on the 22nd of December after his battle with cancer.

The funeral was held at Bromyard on the 4th January. The Strut & HAC were well represented & Denis gave a very spirited flying tribute to Clive.

Clive was a stalwart at Shobdon for many years, before moving on in 2000.

For many years he was the only PFA Inspector in the area & was always very enthusiastic & helpful to home builders. He was a huge help to me in 1995 when I arrived at Shobdon with a half built Avid Flyer G-BVLW which he allowed to be completed at the back of his hangar.

Over the years I got involved helping Clive rebuild a Jet Provost, rebuild a scrap Tiger Moth that was filmed in the "English Patient"

and many other projects.
